Sarbanes-Oxley and Leadership

Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance has been a big challenge for small and large public companies. Billions of dollars are being spent to comply with SOX.

The real issue in SOX is leadership and ethics.  We need to train the people in the organization in leadership and ethics and ofcourse have the ethical leadership modeled in the organization starting from top-down. This will help develop integrity at every level of  the organization.

This will not eliminate the SOX expenses but will create an environment of integrity in the organization.
