I have not heard anyone teach time management to teens. Way to go Jason! I really believe we need to take the leadership principles to the youth also. I will take that up as time permits. I will be speaking to the Bethany University students on November 1st on leadership and purpose.

This was a great idea by Mr. Womack. Nobody ever really addresses the issue of time management and organization that well for teens and young adults. I have often run into several issues pertaining to this subject when working or running various basketball camps during the summer. During our preparation for the events and the biggest complaints during the events is the time management issues that surround events of this nature. Thanks for the link!

Cyril - thank you for the link. As the parent to two young adults with visual disabilities, I appreciate Mr. Womack's inclusion of time management for student's with disabilities.
From an early age, getting the kids organized and keeping them organized was key to their success. From personal experience, I would like to recommend that anyone with school age children take Mr. Womack's recommendations seriously.
My son just graduated from Westmont College with a degree in Chemistry/minor in English and now works for a large national consulting firm. Our daughter is in her first year at Sonoma State University where she was accepted into a special program of 72 students who will complete their BA in Liberal Arts with a focus on education and graduate with her credential in 4 years. This means she carries a load of 20 units and because she is organized - she also serves in a local church in the Nursery, is part of a Student Teachers Association, participated in a Community Service organization and sings in a Community Choir.
Disability or not - being more organized and managing our time allows us to do more because we aren't chasing down all the things of yesterday that we misplaced or put off doing. Thanks again!

I feel that Jason Womack's time management presentations are valuable resources. Time management is one of the skills I need to focus on the most in my development as a leader.
