Meeting with another leadership trainer Jason Womack
I recently got connected to Jason Womack who is a leadership trainer and a good friend. He emailed me after hearing my radio interview on the PWC start-up show. Its amazing, we live in a small world. Within a week or two we already met as Jason was visiting San Francisco.
One thing which immediately emerged as I met him is that he is a very humble man. Another key thing I noticed was he is so relaxed and would communicate and connect with every one around the table as we sat down for lunch.
He does corporate training on leadership and also is working on his book. I do recommend his blog http://jasonwomack.typepad.com/. Here is a pictue we took at the Ferry building market place in San Francisco.

it good to meet other leaders that way one can learn from one another. It is funny how sometimes we see leaders and judge him without even knowing who they really are.

I BELIVE IT IS IMPORTANT TO GET TO KNOW MORE PEOPLE IN THE FILED OF YOUR CARRER, OR EVEN ANY. YOU CAN ALWAYS LEARN SOMETHING NEW ALL THE TIME DURING A CONVERSATION. AND I BET THAT YOU LEARNED ALOT OF NEW INFORMATION ABOUT LEARDERSHIP, AS HE HIMSELF LEARNED AS WELL.

Often I think of a good leader as someone that makes the best decision they can in the face of challenging circumstances and opposition. But in addition to how the 'big things' are handled, the way a leader acts in daily situations is of equal importance. As this blog reminded me, the character of a leader should be consistent. The colleague in the blog was seen as being humble and then inclusive around a lunch table, but even actions like this can speaks loudly of someone's character.
